Delete Your Account

Delete in the app

1. Open Settings.
2. Choose Delete account.
3. Type your username.
4. Complete the second confirmation.

What is deleted

Kredo deletes these records in order:

1. Your group memberships and their membership mirrors.
2. Your saved recommendations.
3. Your block records, on your account and on the accounts you blocked.
4. Your profile document, including username, first and last name, photo URL, Cred, and tallies.
5. Your username reservation, which frees the handle for reuse.
6. Your avatar file.
7. Your Firebase Authentication record, including email address, password hash, and ability to sign in.

Device push tokens are also deleted on account deletion. Reports you filed are kept with your identity removed from them.

What remains

Your recommendations and ratings remain with your frozen username so group history still makes sense.

The recommendations and Hit or Miss ratings stay in the groups where you posted them. Those records remain visible only to members of those groups under Kredo's group visibility rules. Groups you created also remain for their other members.

If you have lost access to the app, email support@joinkredo.com for help with an account-deletion request.
